The dental health of your pet is important for their quality of life. We would always recommend speaking to your vet practice, for further advice, if you notice:

• Pawing/rubbing the mouth
• Drooling
• Poor appetite
• Slower eating
• Dropping food
• A bad smell from the mouth
• Bleeding from the mouth
• Less keen to play with toys or chew things
• Behavioural changes e.g. grumpy or quieter than normal

The most effective way to support your pets dental health, is daily tooth brushing with a pet safe, enzymatic toothpaste. There are also diet changes that can be made, to help support dental health, alongside the regular tooth brushing.

PLAQAID® TOOTHPASTE contains a tasty umami and caramel flavouring, making it very palatable for dogs and cats.

Your vet will be able to recommend the appropriate management for your pet. Every pet is different so it is important to find the right management for the individual. This may involve cleaning of the teeth under anaesthetic, diet changes, certain medication and other supportive care.

Apply to the toothbrush, or finger brush, and rub along the gum line and tooth surface, in circular motions, on a daily basis.
