SYNOQUIN® is a nutraceutical to help support joint health in dogs. Since its introduction in 1998, SYNOQUIN® has been purchased by more pet owners than any other joint supplement and it is now recommended by vets worldwide.
SYNOQUIN® contains the highest quality glucosamine and chondroitin, which are key ingredients to help support cartilage structure. Alongside these, SYNOQUIN® contains omega 3 EFAs from a krill source, for superior absorption and purity, compared to fish. Omega 3 EFAs help support the natural systems that control inflammation, so are an important part of the formulation.
SYNOQUIN® is available in breed size specific tablets and capsules for dogs, to aid with easy feeding. This means that, for most sizes of dog, only one tablet or capsule is needed daily, long term.

SYNOQUIN® MEDIUM BREED for dogs 10-25kg is available in packs of 120 tablets, or capsules, with inners of 30.

SYNOQUIN® SMALL BREED for dogs <10kg is available in packs of 90 tablets, or capsules, with inners of 30.

Your Local Practice

Joint health is important for the happiness and comfort of all your pets. We would always recommend speaking to your vet practice, for further advice, if you notice:

• Limping
• Stiffness
• Reluctance to exercise as normal
• Difficulty getting up steps or jumping up
• Scuffed claws
• Licking a limb or joint excessively
• Changes in behaviour
• Sleeping more
• Changes in appetite

Joint issues can require a multimodal approach to get the best outcome for your pet, involving pain relief, environmental changes, good diet, weight management and exercise. SYNOQUIN® can be used alongside these, to support cartilage health and the natural systems that control inflammation.

Initial Loading Programme - six weeks:

<10kg Two capsules or tablets of Small Breed daily (one morning, one evening)
10 - 25kg Three capsules or tablets of Medium Breed daily (two morning, one evening)
25 - 40kg Three capsules or tablets of Large Breed daily (two morning, one evening)
>40kg Four capsules or tablets of Large Breed daily (two morning, two evening)

Maintenance Programme - long term:

All dogs vary in their response to supplementation. However, in general after the initial six week Loading Period the daily intake can be reduced as follows.

<10kg One capsule or tablet of Small Breed
10 - 25kg One capsule or tablet of Medium Breed
25 - 40kg One capsule or tablet of Large Breed
>40kg Two capsules or tablets of Large Breed (one morning, one evening)
