Behavioural challenges are very common in both dogs and cats, with around 3 out of 4 owners reporting behavioural challenges in their pets. Frequently reported challenges include separation related behaviours, noise sensitivities and uncertainty in new situations.

The main things to look out for in dogs are:

Alongside a product like CALMEX®, it is important to ensure that you make other appropriate changes, to help your dog. Dogs are naturally social animals and therefore need training, to help them manage when left alone. Ensuring puppies receive the best socialisation experience, in their early life is key and your vet can give lots of advice on how to ensure puppies are getting the correct early experiences. Alongside behavioural training and supplements like CALMEX®, there are lots of additional options to help. This may include plug in products, like CALMEX® DIFFUSER, which can help create a relaxed environment and CALMEX® ON THE MOVE, to support when travelling in the car.

For best results CALMEX® should be given for three days prior to a stressful event.

If required, double the recommended amount can be given 30-60 minutes prior to an acute stressor.
