If your dog has digestive upset this can be identified by monitoring your dog's appetite, toileting and general health. We would always recommend speaking to your vet practice, for further advice, if you notice:

• Vomiting
• Soft faeces
• Increased frequency of passing faeces
• Straining when passing faeces
• Blood and/or mucous in the faeces
• Changes to faeces colour
• Weight loss
• Changes to appetite
• Lethargy
• Bloating
• Flatulence

Gastrointestinal issues can require a multimodal approach to get the best outcome for your pet, including diet, supplementation and medication.

COLAID® can be used to support a healthy digestive system in dogs. The product contains a blend of ingredients that can help maintain a healthy environment within your dog's intestine and support the millions of good bacteria living there. Your vet may recommend the product if your dog regularly experiences digestive upset, has had gut surgery, or after any interventions on their digestive system. It can be used either short, or long term, as required.

Maintaining optimum gut health can be challenging and some dogs will require multiple management options, to get the best results. Your vet can help determine the underlying cause of your dogs digestive problems and recommend the best course of action - supplementation can be used as part of this.

COLAID® has no added flavourings, but does have a natural ginger flavour, due to the ingredients. The capsule can be given whole, or easily opened and mixed into food.

Alongside COLAID®, your vet will be able to give specific advice and management options. In different dogs, this may include a combination of special diets, supplements and medications.

Capsules can be opened and mixed with food or given whole.

Initially: Give one capsule per 15kg body weight per day for three to four weeks.

Maintenance: One capsule per 15kg per body weight every other day long term.
